REAL MADRID VS BAYERN MUNICH REVIEW

Real Madrid have done it once again in the Champions League.Just when it looked like they were down and out, they snatched victory from the jaws of defeat underneath Bayern Munich's grasp.Bayern are gonna wonder to themselves how they let it slip out of their hands but that's football, right, Bloody Hell!.Anyway,Let's unfold what happened in the match.

Neither team came into the match with an advantage as they played out a draw in the First Leg although from the perspective of fans and analysts, Madrid had an "advantage" because the Second Leg of  the Semi Final Clash was played at Home. The first half started at a frenetic pace and even though it was an even half, Real Madrid had the better chances as they Bayern had to rely on Neuer to bail them out with saves from Rodrygo and Vini Jnr though they also went close at the other end through Harry Kane who forced Andriy Lunin to parry a fierce shot as the First Half ended goalless.

The strart of the second half had an end to end feel as both teams were attacking at any given opportunity before Real Madrid started to take control.Just when it seemed that Real Madrid were getting closer and closer to scoring, Bayern Munich sucker punched them.Harry Kane whipped a superb ball onto the feet of Alphonso Davies, who had come on to replace an injured Serge Gnabry in the first half, as he drove forward, cut inside and smacked a shot with his weaker foot past Andriy Lunin.Real Madrid soon equalised but it was disallowed for a foul on Joshua Kimmich.Bayern would then go on to have a couple of dangerous attacking transitions which could have killed off Real Madrid but failed to find a killer pass in both situations.Real Madrid would make them pay through Joselu Mato, a substitute for Rodrygo late in the match who was ironically born in Germany. He scored his first goals after Neuer, who had a superb game in between the sticks fumbled a tame shot from Vini Jnr as Josely quickly pounced on the slip up and scored. He would score a second after a cross from Rudiger, who also happens to be German,  to win the tie.

However, there was a late controversy in the game when De Ligt scored for Bayern but the offside flag was raised beforehand. His failure to review the situation on VAR just made matters worse but honestly, speaking it was an overall deserved win for Real Madrid even if there was a little bit of controversy in the ned although Bayern Munich also have every right to feel aggrieved for being"robbed" of a goal which could have taken the game to extra time.
