As he approaches the final stages of his career,this might  be 39 year old Cristiano Ronaldo's last Euro tournament.This would be his 6th Euro tournament, having made it to the finals twice and winning it once as he Hope's to win it once again with Portugal in Germany with a stronger squad and a new manager this time around.


2.Luka Modric



the 39 year old Croatian and Real Madrid superstar will also be making his 6th appearance at a Euro tournament.Unfortunately for Modric, he hasn't been any able to win the Euro tournament in any of his five previous appearances and most often they don't really go that far in the tournament through no fault of theirs as they often face better and more formidable teams in knockout games.Perhaps in this Euro Tournament, Modric, with his expertise on the pitch,might just be able to guide Croatian to their first ever trophy .



3.Thomas Muller

this might be the Bayern Munich Legend's last Euro tournament as he is in his late 30s  and is already approaching the twilight of his career.Thomas Muller has never won the Euros and also surprisingly never scored in the tournament.It is the one trophy that has eluded him throughout his career as he has won all the major trophies there is to win so he will be hoping  to "complete" his trophy cabinet by finally leading Germany to victory and the fact that they are the host nation should also help boost the players' morale a few weeks before the tournament.
